How would this sound?
Baby making sex is just really not what it's cut out to be. I think even my usually horny husband would agree with that at this point. Ten days in a row with all the pressure to not miss a day and then the 'peak' reading on the fertility monitor at the end with the pressure to make those days really count. It's really exhausting. We even resorted to porn to keep us going. How terrible of us.
Wouldn't it be funny if after all we've been through with IVF($20,000 later), etc. that it could have all been accomplished with some $50 clomid? Could the pregnancy announcement look something like this...?
100mg of Clomid for 5 days...$50
Appropriate Night Attire for Wife...$30
Wasted cash on IVF...$20,000
Digital Porn to get us in the mood...$13
CONCEPTION!...Priceless

And so the two week wait begins...today...

I sure hope that this really happens for you. And the whole babymaking sex thing; been there! I remember thinking, 'damn, and I can't even use any astroglide!' After so many days of sex, and that damn clomid side-effect, using some sure would have helped a bit--TMI I know!

I don't know how you are even walking!! I remember on one of the months we conceived I just couldn't go through with the 'one for good luck' and was more than happy to take bad luck on that cycle if only my poor sore bits wouldbe left in peace!

strange you bring up the porn...because i just read something about watching porn before baby making sex improving your chances of conception - something about the man watching the man on the screen performing causing some biological competitive urge to kick in, which in turn causes the best quality sperm to be ejaculated, rather than the usual average stuff.

Well, you know, it would sound funny if not so freaking terrible...but good. Ummm....and I'd go rent some porn as soon as I saw that announcement.
