Gracie's World
Conversation with Gracie before bed last night:
Her: Mommy, I don't want to get old. I want to be special.
Me: Honey, you have a very long time before you are old and you will always be special.
Her: And you are old.
Thanks kid. Thanks a lot. I wasn't sweating my birthday on the 15th, but now, yeah... Thanks a lot.

All is relative. I remember when my grandmother turned 90. I was in my 20s at the time, and I told my dad, "Doesn't it seem weird to have a mother who's going to be 90?" He replied, "No, not really, considering my age. Now, if YOU had a mother who was 90, THAT would be weird."
Happy birthday week to someone who's just the right age for her daughter.

At least you aren't super old. That is what my son told my mom on her birthday. Happy early birthday. Hope you have a great day.

BTW, I think that's a pretty crappy thing your company is making you do before leaving. How weird is it being in charge of hiring your replacement?
