All is Well

I got home yesterday afternoon. The popped the thing out (size of a grapefruit) through my belly button (it's very sore). It looks like nothing to worry about. I get to go back to see Dr. Baby Maker in a week to start my fertility drugs.

I still feel pretty pukey. That's been the worst part.

Thank God it's over.

So glad you came through fine.

Strange question - did they take pictures? (I used to be a medical and forensic photographer, so I have a cursory interest in that sort of thing.) Did you see it, or were you out-out?

Anyway - I hope that's the end of that. Onward!

Michelle, so glad everything went well and that it is over!! Rest up honey, 'cause you'll be pregnant before you know it!! This seems awkward and perhaps inappropriate, but I think that there is someone who needs you a lot right now. Her name is Sarah and she journals on the labor of love site, SWH's Journal, Due April-June 2005. She posted today that she lost her baby during a very difficult delivery. Her last post was in March, and just today she finally posted with her news. If you read her post she mentions you. She's been reading your blog, and I think she may be finding some comfort in you, somehow. I am so sorry if I'm being inappropriate Michelle, I just can't help but think that you two can find comfort in each other. Just trying to help, Sharon (The Labor of Love)

Hooray for getting rid of "the tumah!" I can't believe that thing came out of your belly button! (Ironic-- I can't believe what comes out of other parts during birth. See how it always sneaks in the conversation? Sigh. Sorry.) I hope that you're resting up and feeling great soon! I just started (re)reading The Wizard of Oz and have been thinking about you lots even if I'm no good at expressing such things these days.
